Moddlamp

There are masses of moodlamp projects. So this is the ultimativ additional one. The main purpose for starting a new project is the fact it is easy, cool and I had an idea.

And I am very impressed by the blinkenlights project and am thinking a long time about implemeting a versatile solution providing also colors.

The moodlamp would be the basis for such a project. I would love having the chance to contribute for any upcoming projects in this area.

There is a moodlamp version from CCC munich that is used for the blinkenlight like project All Colors Are Beautiful.

But… I am convinced that a modular designed moodlamp as a basis for the moodlamp swarm will be a fantastic solution. It is also a good idea to find a solution that does not need special preperations for windows, etc. to allow installations on objects where the rooms are used for regular work, etc.

The modular design will allow to use Network UDP messages or XBee radio communication to control the whole swarm, so no special wiring is needed.
