The WS sensors send their data via radio frequency 868,35 MHz to the weather station. Also the ELV FS20 home automation producty use the 868,35 Mhz to communicate.

The aim of this project is to gathet the information about the protocol and develop an open receiver platform.

I ordered a HFE 868 receiver (ELV Partnr. 68-641-28, databook as PDF).

Actually I ordered this part which contains the HFE 868 and was available within 2 days.

Now I will analyse the data and protocols. After that a small open microcontroller driven circuit is to be developed to allow multi purpose usage.
